ADSM for OS/2 officially doesn't support the Eliant drives, even under 2.1.14.
Eliants are supported in 2.1.15
in AIX. I was told that by ADSM support when I had trouble labeling the tapes
in my 210. Exabyte sent me a
firmware update that fixed the labeling problem. If you'd like, you can email
me and I'll send you the files
Exabyte sent me and include my problem number with Exabyte for you to refer to
if you call them.

Also, beware if you are using an IBM token ring PCI card with the original
drivers. It gave me Trap 0008
problems while doing anything with the tape drives. It was finally traced to
the NDIS drivers, and they gave
me a beta of some new drivers that were released in February.
