password and dsmc under aix and adsm v3 client

hallo,
when you start the adsm v2 client under aix 4.x the password (from dsmc sched
-passw=xxx) will not be displayed in the process list.
if you start an adsm v3 dsmc then the password will be displayed...
this is not a secure situation. do you know an official method to avoid this ??
