Eric,
The version 3 GUI's "Directory Tree" has all the navigational advantages of the
existing V2's "Directory Tree"
without any of its limitations.  The V2 GUI "Directory Tree" was based on
files.  Therefore it did not
restore empty directories and therefore not all the ACLs would be restored.
The new V3 "Directory Tree" treats files and directories as complete objects.
Therefore just 'check'
the subdirectory you want to restore and all the ACLs for all the subdirs and
files will be restored.
