Hi ADSMers,

Further to my input on the subj issue. Here are some additional details on
some important facts about the bindery as it relates to the backup/restore
process.

A.      We all know bindery is server-centric i.e one on each 3.1x server.

B.      Bindery backup/restore is serviced by TSA31x.NLM

C.      To ensure correct preservation of trustee rights the bindery will always
be restored first before volume data.

D.      When using ADSM, do not backup or restore individual bindery files on
the NWare server. As a matter of fact EXCLUDE these files from ADSM Backup.

E.      Use the BINDERY keyword for backup, restore & any quereis.

        e.g.    LOAD DSMC INCREMENTAL BINDERY or
                LOAD DSMC RESTORE BINDERY

I hope this helps clear the air about BINDERY not being reported in the
ADSM filespaces.
