I had similar problems with my 8 CPU R50 (with additional sporadic
core-dumps of dsmserv in stress situations) and IBM-Support recommended an
upgrade to bos.mp 4.2.1.8. After installation of this patch (there a some
additional prerequisites..) this server works stabile.
