Hi Riccardo,

We also saw significant performance problems after the upgrade to AIX
4.2.1 although not with creating storage pools but with database backup
& restore. The fix for us was to install AIX patch bos.mp 4.2.1.2.

        Mb ram ) from Aix4.1.1 to  Aix4.2.1
        Our sftw config is at the moment :
        Aix 4.2.1  +  bos.rte.mp 4.2.1.1  (  necessary for  Lotus Notes
)
        ADSM Server 2.1.5.15   ( database size 900 Mb  62 % used )
        ADSM Server 2.1.5.15   ( database size 900 Mb  62 % used )
        ADSM Client 2.1.0.8 ( on the same machine )
        Communication through Shared Memory

        Do we need to install  some fix to the basic Aix Installation ?
