SQL/ADSM ? Socket errors....
1998-02-26 18:53:56
Hello ADSM/SQL BackTrack 'ers
The DBA's and I are in a quandary on what may be causing the following
error in the SQL-BackTrack error log.
dbbkup_021198.log:[obsi/adsm 42478] obsi/adsm:
/tmp/datatools/adsm.42478.f: error binding
stream socket: Error 0 (0)
The DBA's kick off a scheduled SQL backup at 3:30 in the A.M. for one
node it ends at 3:40 give or take a minuet or two, then another
scheduled SQL backup kicks off at 4:15 for another node. One of the key
questions is which socket is it complaining about and what does error 0
(0) mean....???????????????
Has anyone else running in a AIX Unix V4.1 / ADSM V2.1.12 / BMC SQL V
2.2.1 / TCP/IP 155 Mbit connection. Ever run into this type of
problem.... I will also be asking BMC and IBM ADSM support, but thought
I would poll the user community also..... Thanks Tony
