We have (at our customer) AIX 4.2.1 ADSM Server 3.1.0.1,
ADSM Client 3.1.20.1.
We´re currently experiencing - say - two problems:

1) We schedule an B/A client schedule Action=Command and Object is actually a
Korn-Shell
script.
On the Server-Activitylog we see the schedule start but then terminate with
message:
02/17/1998 19:04:02 ANR0484W Session 533 for node SAPTEST_CLIENT (AIX)
                      terminated - protocol violation detected.
...followed by some...
02/17/1998 19:11:04 ANR8213W Session open with 128.39.27.3 timed out.

The command is not run at this time, but is run after 20 minutes when the
client itself
retries! Any ideas ?

2) An admin schedule, e.g. "ba stgp pool_1 pool_copy1" produces an error in the
activitylog:
02/17/1998 14:11:01 ANR2756I Scheduled command BASTG_SERV2 started
                      successfully.
02/17/1998 14:11:01 ANR9999D cscmdsch.c(1025): Error generating a pending
                      entry for command schedule BASTG_SERV2.

After 1 hour it says schedule "..." missed it startup window.
The ba stgp process starts nevertheless and is going well, however the
completion code
of the schedule always is FAILED, which is annoying.

Could you shed some light into this?
TIA,
Reinhold
