We're currently trying to label DLT cartridges in a StorageTek 9714 library
using ADSM 3.1 (ptf ix74458 applied).

We reliably get an "I/O error from Library" message.  The activity log and
tracefile from "dsmlabel" seem to indicate that it's failing while trying
to dismount the cart.

If I open the library and manually feed the carts to the drives and use the
GUI "label tape" screen it seems to work.

Is tape labelling broken for the 9714 in adsm 3.1?  Does anyone have a
working procedure?
