We're seeing the same thing.  On ADSM server the fin-wait-2's of TCP/IP
seem to correspond to a lot of ANR2561I and this has only started
happening since this one user started testing Version 3 WinNT client
for us.    It cause our TCP/IP to grind to a halt twice in the last 3 mths.

Other circumstancial evidence is:  Old VM/ESA (1.2.1), & this is the same
time that I do a database backup that locks everyone out (5-8AM)
and this user happens to be scheduled close to that time.
