Dominique,
did you check the security entries? One difference between using the
scheduler and gui interface is the account used for backing up. Could it
be that dsmc (used by the scheduler) does not have enough righs to copy
the registry and therefor crashes before closing the files under
adsm.sys?
Can you reproduce the error on more than one machines?
