In going through my log, I find that I have a couple of people trying to use
ADSM without registering - I am getting the ANR0422 - Node not registered
message, and in both cases, the node name does not help us locate the
individual. In talking to a network specialist, he indicated that he could
set a trap for the message, and thus identify where it is coming from, if we
could tell him the location in the datagram of the node we were trying to
locate.

So, has anyone out there been successful in using a sniffer to trap ADSM
logon activity and could share with me what the layout of a logon request to
ADSM would look like? IBM, is this proprietary, or can you share this with
us?

TIA
