What kind of statistics are you looking for?
If you enter the admin command SET ACCOUNTING ON, ADSM writes very tidy
comma-delimited accounting records containing usage information to
/usr/lpp/adsmserv/dsmaccnt.log for every client session.
The records are described on P. 73 of the V2 AIX ADSM Admin Guide. I
process them with SAS and generate graphs and/or statistics as needed
for megabytes moved per server per day for
Backup/Restore/Archive/Retrieve, top 10 users; etc.
