In Laura's response she indicates 500k and 200k. I believe this should be
500 bytes and 200 bytes.
The key, in my mind, it to allocate space to the database efficiently. For
instance, if you have 20 GB of disk for the database, create that database
using 20 1 GB pieces. Then if you want to reduce the size you can. If, on
the other hand, you created a single 20 GB partition for the database,
reducing it later will be difficult.
