Hi,

  If there is any chance of some of the data still being readable on the
volume, you could also issue a:

      "audit vol vol-name fix=yes"
      followed by (if you have at least 2 drives)  "move data vol-name"
      then (if this volume is in a library) "checkout libvol lib-name vol-name"

 However, if the volume is completely unreadable, you will have to do the
"delete volume vol-name discarddata=yes"
       and then (if this volume is in a library) "checkout libvol lib-name
vol-name"
