More info on this problem (BUG?)...

It turns out that this only happens when I'm displaying to another
node ($DISPLAY equals something other than the ":0" or
"<local_hostname>:0").
I've tried with DISPLAY set to an HP Netstation, and to a PC running
Hummingbird Exceed, and neither worked.

When I run dsm on a local X server it works fine (DISPLAY=:0
or "<local_hostname>:0").

If any ADSM "I-Beamers" are watching, is this a bug?
