DEC Alpha is a RISC based processor which entirely different than
the Intel family of processors.

Win32 applications built for Intel won't normally run natively on Alpha .

Most Win32 applications including ADSM will run under FX32 emulation software
available free from the Digital website.

Note that native applications run much faster than emulated ones.

There is a separate DEC Alpha ADSM install package available which contains
a native Alpha Backup/Archive client, Command Line Admin Client, and API.

The SA GUI and Webshell clients, as well the ODBC admin driver are currently not
available as native DEC Alpha applications (but will run emulated with FX32).
