Kelly, you are right. Since the media is sequential there is no way to
alter the initial settings. Bill, you could do moves of data from those
volumes and it will delete the tapes from the database ; when you reuse the
tapes, they will record compress data. It's work and time vs. amount of
tapes you want to get rid of.
