We are using a 3590 on AIX on a J40. In the following example we were
running a Shared Memory Client and backed up a 2 GB file in 11 min 12
sec, which equates to  3,195,659/sec. Big files go faster than small
files, so this is a best case scenario.

11/11/97   00:40:13 Normal File-->   2,147,483,136 /backup/402/trend.fb
