I am struggling with the same question.  In reading some of the
     preliminary V3 doc, it seems like this may be possible.  Anyone with
     the answer?

     Thanks for the heads up on the empty directories.  I realize we can
perform a complete restore via
the incremental backup tapes, but we plan on using the monthly archive for
disaster recover purposes.  In
real life - could I actually restore an entire server from an archive copy?
I was wondering if anyone has
had to do this, or has tested it.
