Hi Christo,

My enviroment is like yours:

 MVS V2.1.013
 DB size= 1440Meg (bigger than yours)
 Bufferpoolsize= 2080k (smaller than yours)
 Cache hit= 99.07%

My approach about this was to give increments (25%) from the default until
i get this percentage. When my DB grew up i had to tune the buffepoolsize
too.

Hi Koen,Debbie,

Our server is MVS V2.1.013 and DB size = 1072Meg
BUFPoolsize = 8192K
Cache Hit Percentage = 99.30%

Has anyone got a clear understanding as to how this
percentage is calculated?

Thanks
