Hi Armin,

on your AIX 4.2.1 box an essential part of X11 is missing:
X11.base.rte
This fileset contains different drivers and the libraries libgair.a and
libgair4.a necessary for X11 applications to work. I wonder how
you could install the other X11 components without X11.base.rte
being installed automatically as a prerequisite ...
