Joelle,
Wow. That is a very unusual problem. If bouncing the service does not
work,
I suggest the following:
1) Attempt a chkdsk without the fix option to see if it finds any errors
on the disk.
2) Attempt reinstalling ADSM. About the only thing that accounts for
this is a corrupt library or something in the ADSM subdir. I would remove
it entirely before the re-install, including the service definition.
