I'm not sure what platform you are on, but there is a file maximum set on the 
storage pool definition and if a client attempts to backup a file larger than 
this maximum, it will default to your "next storage pool" which I am assuming 
is tape for you. Depending on how large the file is, you may want to increase 
the max (assuming the file is not larger than your primary storage pool).
