What is maxscratch set to in the storage pool for 3590s?
     Is ENBABLE3590 set in server options?
     Have volumes been checked in to the 3590 pool, scratch or otherwise?

Hi,
I am trying to use a 3494 tape library for the first time with ADSM.  I
get:

ANR2280I Full database backup started as process 17.
ANR9999D PVRCART(1575): 3590 device can only mount volumes
  marked READONLY.
ANR5336E Volume DBBKUP.1 must be read-only on 3590 device.
ANR1404W Scratch volume mount request denied - mount
 failed.

Can someone tell me why this 3590 dev can only mount vols readonly?
Other MVS address spaces write to this with no problem.  (Also, I am
using RMM for tape mgt).
