     Pay particular note to VEREXISTS, VERDELETED, RETAINONLY, AND
     RETAINEXTRA parms in your copygroups.  We left all the defaults and
     had the same scenario, after adjusting them our db dropped by 38%
     (your mileage will vary).

     Are you doing backups or archives?  They are controlled via different
     copygroup parms.

Joe,
        The growth of the ADSM database depends on the number of files you've
backed up and the number of backup versions you're keeping.  There are
formulas in the ADSM Admin Reference book to help in sizing your ADSM
database.   Are your running Expire Inventory processing on a regular
basis ??
