Try issuing a query content (q con volser).  Maybe the move data didn't
completely work.  This will show if there truly are any files on it.

      Fellow ADSM User's

      I have a dlt tape that was 4.5% utilized but was considered full by
      ADSM. I did a move data on the tape and now it is 0.0% utilized but
      ADSM still considers it full. If I freed 4.5% by doing the move data
     why is the tape still considered full? Below is what a q vol shows of
     the volume in question.
