Tim,

      I understand how the Novell password is configured. What I'm =
trying
     to get around is when I use the command line, " load dsmc ", or =
when I
     bring down the scheduled backup and bring it up the password for =
ADSM
     still needs to be entered. On other clients "passwordaccess =
generate"
     allows us to enter the password once and never again. Is there a =
way
     on Novell to enter the ADSM password once and never again.

Brian,
        The first time you use ADSM on a Netware client, you'll be =
prompted for
the ADSM password, and then to enter a Netware userid / password.  When
you enter the Netware userid, then password, ADSM will store this in an
encrypted format in the ADSM client directory and you should no longer
be prompted for the Netware userid / password (at least until the period
of time between password changes is met or somebody changes the
password).
