When the client is connecting to the server for the purpose of a
scheduled backup and there are not enough sessions available so a
message anr2571w is issued. How many times will the client retry the
command?
In the manual it says that this is controlled by MAXCMDRETRIES and
RETRYP. However my client does not have these parameters specified
and my actlog says it is retrying about 6 times.
The defaults are 2 times every 20 minutes.
Is there another parameter I should be looking at?
The MVS server has specified Client's Choice.
If anyone know how this works, please let me know.
