A while back there was some discussion about restoring files on an NT server,
and permissions/rights, etc. If I remember the discussion correctly it went
something like this...

1. If a restore was done from the server console itself, there was no
problem - access rights, etc. were restored correctly.
2. If a restore was initiated by someone logged in as a user to the server
(not from the console), then there was a problem, in that rights may not be
correctly restored.

Now for the question... I have a customer who is setting up a WinFrame
application, and he wants to use ADSM. The server will be kept in a "server
center" in our Data Center, and while the customer will be allowed to go and
visit his server, it is not an easy thing to do. He therefore wants to use
WinFrame to access the server to do the restore. In thinking about this, we
thought that MAYBE this would work, since he would log on with the same id
(Administrator I think, but am not sure at this time), and initiate the
restore. Does anyone have experience with WinFrame and ADSM enough to
comment on this? Any other general comments about ADSM and WinFrame?
