Our reseller has offered us 4000's as an interim solution, so this is
nice to hear.

I'm not so sure, and will ask BreeceHill.  The microcode update tape they
sent me for previous calibration problems would not load onto our "bare"
DLT7000.  Makes me think the library version has been modified in some
way...

I am in the process of trying to convince them of their mistake.  Wish me
luck.
