Hello,

I am getting annoyed by messages like

ANR1440I All drives in use.  Process 143 being preempted
                      by higher priority operation.

I need to move data from a IBM3590 cartridge with media problems
and my process gets canceled because retrieve requests have
obviously higher priority.

My two questions to the list are:

1. What are the priorities of the different ADSM operations
   (like retrieve, reclaim, move data, etc.) ?

2. What can I do to prevent canceling my operation ?

   Answers like "increase the number of drives available"
   (See explanation of MSG ANR1440I) are not welcome, I have
   to live with the amount of drives (four) and the mountlimit
   is set to this maximum.
   The other answer I am not content with
   is "Disable access to server", because that gives me pain
   from users.
