What appears in the dsmerror.log on the OS/2 machine? (Does an OS/2 machine
GET a dsmerror.log?)

Using GUI:

Under "view", check "View active and inactive files"
Then under "Restore", select "Restore by file specification"
        Then press "List files"
You'll see a list of files and backup dates. Choose the
                appropriate one and hit Restore...

Using dsmc:

        dsmc restore -inactive=yes -pick /some/path/to/file
A text window showing all stored versions of a file will show up.
type in the number of the file you want (follow with a return).
Type "O" for OK, and a return, and the file will be restored.
