     Hello David,

The backup storagepool will copy EVERYTHING. This includes inactive
files as well. Keep in mind though that the copy storage pool is not
a mirror per se of the primary pool as far as what data is on what
tapes. IE: if you do a q content <volser> you would be hard pressed
to find comparable tapes. All DATA is copied and is somewhere in the
copy pool. We'll let ADSM worry about that. :)

     Regards,
     Al Barth

It only adds the files that have been added to the local stgpool since the
last backup stgpool to this copypool ran.

When doing a BACKUP STGPOOL from a primary tape pool to an
offsite copy pool, will ADSM copy everything, or just those files
that are still valid for the management class to which they are
assigned?

Also, is there a way to specify that only the most recent versions
of files be copied to the copy pool volumes?

Thanks in advance.
