Last week, I'd posted a query about the Install process "hanging" at 36%
and producing a dump on a Windows/NT 3.51 server.

Thanks to a suggestion from Pete Carranti where he mentioned a similar
problem which was resolved by finding a duplcate file on the machine, I
found another version of UNINST.EXE sitting in teh C:\WINNT35 directory.
Removing this file allowed the installation to proceed with no problems.
