Hi Tom,
It's a bit awkward but you can configure a single Unix box as mulitple
ADSM nodes:
- in the dsm.sys file, define a stanza (SERVERNAME)
for each ADSM node. These can point to the same ADSM server.
- in that stanza use the nodename option (use of the
nodename in the dsm.sys file is an alias for the hostname
of the workstation).
- when you invoke the ADSM client use the servername option
on the command or in a dsm.opt file that is unique for
each ADSM node (you can use the environment variable DSM_CONFIG
to point to different dsm.opt files).
If you use password generate a file will be created (in either
the default directory or the PASSWORDDIR directory) that
has the stanza/SERVERNAME as the file name. John
