You do not need to buy seperate component for different flavors of UNIX.
The client registration key supplied by IBM is for all flavors of UNIX.
Our ADSM server is running on RS/6000 and our UNIX clients are AIX and SUN
Solaris.

Subject:  adding a new client platform




We currently have the ADSM server on an RS6000.  All of our clients are
also
on RS6000s.  We are thinking about installing the ADSM client on an HP.  We
were told we'd need to purchase and install another component on the
server,
but I thought it was just purchasing the client code and issuing the
'register license' command on the server for a unix client.
Does anyone on this list know the answer?
