You need to do a "Q PR" (query process) to see how your Export is doing.
Also, cancelling your Export means you'll have to start from scratch next
time, all the tapes you've written are useless. I've done a lot of exports,
but never one with more than 18GB of data. You could have a 'thrashing'
situation where you don't have enough memory for ADSM to keep track of what
it's doing.

Hi,
I have the misfortune of having to export a filespace for a node
with
260,000 files and 210 GB of data. The export was started Sunday morning
at 11:00 AM and was making very good progress, about 8.5 GB per hour,
for the first 20 hours. However, it's slowed to a crawl for the last 6
hours (about 1.5 GB per hour). When I do a Q SESSION, the export
session is spending a lot of time waiting...

Sess Comm. Sess Wait Bytes Bytes Sess Platform Client Name
Number Method State Time Sent Recvd Type
 ------ ------ ------ ------ ------- ------- ----- --------
 --------------------
 2,040 Memory SendW 3.3 M 49.3 M 181 Admin Server PITTSON1
        IPC

At this rate, it will take another 20 hours to complete. Has anybody
seen this type of behavior with Export ??? I'm afraid I'm going to have
to cancel the Export since there are only 2 3590 tape drives and I can't
affort to tie them up with the Export all night. Would sure hate to
have to try this again next weekend and have the same thing happen.
