Have you looked at the dsmsched.log and dsmerror.log on the failing client?
These files contain the information you need to investigate the problem.

Subject: Failed Schedule

As indicated below, a scheduled backup seems to be failing.  This even has
been failing for quite some time.  I have also included the output of a
query actlog for this node.  There is no sign of any problem in the
activity log.  Does anyone know what the result code of 4 for the schedule
might mean?  I am hoping that will give us a clue as to what the problem
is.  Thanks.
