I do not know if TMS can declare tapes as "EDM, externally managed" If
yes, you wont have such tapes any more. We are using CA1 as tape
management system.
In CA1 we said that every tape created by jobname ADSMxxx has to be
flagged as Externally managed. It means CA1 will not expire the tape.
A special exit has been delivered by ADSM and allows ADSM to
automatically free the tape in the CA1 catalog. That's it!
