Andy, Tom & Paul,

Thanks for your answers regarding our Novell TCP/IP issues. From your
responses we have fixed our problems (of course we want even more
performance but we now have reliable to relatively quick communication from
all of our Novell servers to the ADSM server).

We upgraded TCP/IP on the Netware systems and that removed all of the
TCP/IP timeout errors, which gave us the reliability but no significant
increase in performance other than not having to wait for retries each time
we received a timeout.

Then we added TcpMSSinternetlimit OFF to the TCPIP.CFG file. This made a
HUGE difference. That one change increased our throughput from around 200
mb/hour to close to 600 mb/hour. I expected after then change for the MTU
to increase from around 500 bytes to 1500 (3 times) but I didn't expect to
see the transfer rate also increase by close to 3 times. We were impressed
to say the least.

Next up I am going to play with a few other things such as
PROCESSORUTILIZATION.

Once again, thanks for your help.

Trevor
