My apologies to the list for the recent flood of messages.  I am
testing a new version of the e-mail client we use here and it
seems to have confused a folder of saved messages with one of
pending outgoing messages.  (It certainly couldn't have been me!)

Again, I'm terribly sorry this happened.  I'm going to just
delete all my folders now so it can't happen again  :-(
