Some things to check:

1) Check the message on the ADSM server activity log to see if there's
anything there that might shed some light.

2) Verify that you have the latest client API code installed, and that you
don't have any duplicate ADSMOS2.DLL modules anywhere on your disk(s) (i.e.
in case PSnS installs an older copy of the API). Latest client code is
version 2.1.0.6 (2.1.0.5 will do okay, too).

3) Are you doing client compression? If so, do you have COMPRESSALWAYS YES
in the API DSM.OPT file? If not, try adding this option and see if it makes
any difference.

Ron, go ahead an e-mail me back at araibeck AT vnet.ibm DOT com and let me know
how
you make out.
