I am seeing some strange behavior for the adsm windows 32 client at the
ptf 6 service level. This is on Windows NT at service pack 2.
The AdsmClientService seemed to go in a loop.
I have the following pattern of event records.
starts in pm.
5:34:41 schedule std succ completed - event ID: 4097
5:34:41 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
7:13:43 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
7:19:02 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
7:24:22 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
7:30:26 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
7:38:32 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
7:43:46 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
and so on... till the next morning
8:11:46 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
then a gap
5:30:01 Next scheduled event obtained from.. - event ID: 4100
5:30:01 Execution of schedule std started - event ID: 4097
Another symptom is that the machine ran out of virtual Memory
during this process. This shows up with event ID: 26
Has anyone else seen this problem. Any clues to what causes this
problem.
