Thanks Dwight, you give me to golden tip, i.e. always use your eyes!

After inspection of the drives, i saw one drive occupied with a
tape that could not unload anymore. So ADSM could not get that drive.
Q mount shows the drive as free, and even mtlib -q M did not see
the tape, so I thougth ADSM was upset.

Next time, if I see any problems with 3494/3590, I use my eyes first!

(running ADSM V2.1.0.9 on a SP2 (AIX 4.1.4.0) using 3494 with 4 3590 units,
 backup/archive client's 2.1.0.5 & 2.1.0.6 on AIX 3.2, AIX 4.1.4, SunOs,
 Solaris, SGI, HSM client 2.1.0.5 on AIX 4.1.4.0)
