Your current log is full, as "Maximum Extension" is 0.  You need to
use dsmfmt to define and format a new log file, and then issue the
define logvolume and expand logv commands.  Some of the mechanisms
are server platform specific.  The Administrator Reference gives a
good "step-by-step" procedure for doing this.

I have done if on VM before, and just added both DB and LOG space to
a Sun Solaris server today.

I think it will do this by default.  But, if you only want to have one
logvolume, rather than two, then make the new one the desired total size,
and before expanded the log, issue a delete logvolume against the old one.
This will cause a migration from the old to the new.  Once completed, you
can then expand the logvolume.  Lastly, you will need to remove the old
logvolumes' file/minidisk/whatever...
