To write boot records in OS/2 you should use SYSINSTX C:, and not SYSINST.
Also, be sure that the level of SYSINSTX agrees with the level of your OS/2
system.

Hi there!
I'm simulating a recovery of a OS/2 boot drive according to a manual written
by
Kenneth Morse. I restored the files successfully, but now I have to install
the
bootfiles. When I issue the command 'SYSINST C:' I get the error 'An internal
error occurred. Am I doing something wrong? I can't find any documentation
about
this command. Kindest regards, Eric van Loon
