Hi Tom,

In response to the note you posted shown below, I would be interested in
some more details of your problem. I wrote the parts of the redbook that you
mention and apart from some problems at earlier versions of 3.2.5 I was not
aware that this problem still existed. I have passed onto Pat some updates
for the chapters to do some tests on the mksysb tapes (Thanks for the input)
but would like to know more about your problems.

With this redbook we are trying to make it as good as it can be and actively
encourage input from all ADSM (and otherwise) users (no matter how much it
hurts :( ). I have searched for any known problems at 4.1 and 4.2 AIX to
see if your problem is documented there but there are none.

If you can email me a more detailed description of the problem I will
try my best to look into the problem in more depth.

If anyone else on the list has input for the redbook then please pass it on
to Pat who will then contact the relevent person, by the time it goes to
print we want it to be exactly what you people need and have the benefit
of as many people as possible.

Thanks

Dave :)
