Thanks for the fast and definitive response.

The other part of my question was : having obtained v2r1m5f11.U446685.bff ,
v2r1m5f11.U446684.bff, v2r1m5f10.U445654.bff and v2r1m5f10.U445653.bff
and ran inutoc to create the .toc file. This shows that each one only
has a selection of fixes corresponding to that ptf level and not the
whole history of fixes since my 2.1.5.6 base. In order to have all
fixes that are available for my 2.1.5.6 base do I not need ptf levels
7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 ? For example, v2r1m_f11.README describes a level 8
fix for APAR.IC11929/IX57533, this is not included in the bffs for
ptf levels 10 and 11.

If this is the case, where can I get ptf levels 7, 8 and 9 - since they
do not appear to be on the ftp server ?

Do you normally recommend applying all fixes that are released
following a base level - or should you only apply only those
fixes that appear to address problems that could affect you ?
