Did you run 'expire inventory' before checking the BFS files? It is EXP
INV which enforces the policy dates.

We are finding that some, but not all, of our BFS files are not becoming
expired even though we believe the retention period is past for all the backup
data they contain. Have any of you experienced this?
Could it have anything to do with whether the data is "pushed up" to ADSM for
backup explicitly from an ADSM workstation rather than being selected for
backup based on policies?
Any help would very much be appreciated!
